She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Wells and Clarence Wells; her former husband Benton C. Simmons; her husband Henry J. Marlar; her daughter Anna May Houser; and her brother Clarence Wells.
She is survived by: her children, Ruth Miles, Benton Simmons and Elex McCoy Simmons; and her siblings, Robert Wells, Ruth Byrnes and Anna Marie Wisby. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, her family and friends.
