He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman W. Engle and Bernice Mercer Engle; and his siblings, Gary Engle, Donnie McDowell and Betty McCann.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sheila Howdyshell (Terry) of New Plymouth, Cheryl Robson (Nick) of New Plymouth and Tracey Manning (Mark) of Jackson; his grandchildren, Stacy McFarland (Shad), Troy Howdyshell (Kelsey), Jeremy Robson (Shelley), Justin Robson, Kendra Gambill and Clay Manning; his great grandchildren, Bradyn, Taryn Parker, Cooper Gambill, Weston Robson and Trevor Howdyshell; his siblings, Gene Engle (Garnet) of McArthur and Rosemary Harbarger of Logan; his significant other Sabrina Scholten of New Plymouth; and his friend Jerry Mauler (Bob Carpenter). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
