It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Yolanda Altier of New Philadelphia, Ohio, born in Dover, Ohio, who passed away on July 27, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Salvatore Maugeri and Nunzia Brundo Maugeri; her husband Leonard Altier; and her siblings, Joseph, Frances, Rose, Mary, Ann, Gracie and Angie.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marilyn Avon (Richard) of Dover, Denise Picchetti (Francis) of New Philadelphia and Cindy Smith (Dave) of Loveland; her grandchildren, Elyse Cihon (Geoff) of New Philadelphia and Ian Picchetti (Julie) of North Ridgeville; her great grandchildren, Ellie, Gracie Cihon and Owen Picchetti; her stepgrandchildren, Jeff Smith and Sandra "Joey" Banks (Josh); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Tyler, Taryn Smith, Gage and Lilly Banks; her sister Joan Beitner of Dover; and her sisters-in-law, Jo Anne Altier of New Philadelphia and Mary Jane Margletta (Leonard) of Dover. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
