She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Lawson and Wilma Keith Lawson; her husband Robert L. Russell; her daughters, Brenda and Teresa; her grandchildren, Gregory and Marlaina; her brothers, Alvin James and Gordon; and her son-in-law George.
She is survived by: her close friend Jenny; her children, Robin Johnson of Dover and Robert Russell (Tracy) of Mineral City; and her sisters, Janice and Judy. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
