It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William F. Zeigler in New Philadelphia, Ohio, born in Dover, Ohio, who passed away on January 25, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Zeigler and Helen Zeigler (Flaim); his wife Wanda Zeigler (Renicker); his siblings, Lester, Nelson, George, Dale Zeigler, Gladys Harper, Alice Lindeman, Stella Smith and Mary Medley; his sons-in-law, Paul Frey and Paul Noel; and his grandson Eric Zeigler.
He is survived by: his children, Floyd Zeigler (Debby) of Midvale, Brenda Frey Midvale, Stella Noel of Bolivar and Shelly Hensel (Bob) of Tappan Lake; and his caregiver Carli. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home- Dover (803 N Wooster Ave, Dover, OH 44622). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory (803 N Wooster Ave, Dover, OH 44622). A reception was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Monarch Center (831 Boulevard St, Dover, OH 44622).
Instead of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Ohio's Hospice Truman House, 716 Commercial Ave SW, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663.
