He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry Harrison and Jennie Lucille Hicks (Corpman); his daughter Brenda; and his siblings, Frank Hicks, Mary Ferrall, Lester Hicks, William Hicks, Grace Kohler and Evelyn Moore.
He is survived by: his significant other Betty Jean Basiletti; his children, Dale Hicks of New Philadelphia, Doug Hicks (Doreena) of Dennison and Jenifer Clemens (Keith) of New Philadelphia; his grandchildren, Chad Hicks (Tricia) of New Philadelphia, Kyle (Brandon Troupe) of Colorado and Eric Luikart (Treasur) of New Philadelphia; his great grandchildren, Logan Bitikofer (Peyton) and Lyanna Luikart; and his brothers, Virgil Hicks and Foster Hicks (Roberta). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
