We are sad to announce that on January 28, 2024, at the age of 93, Walter E. Leggett of New Philadelphia, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Leggett and Ada Archinal Leggett; and his wife Edith Shinaberry Parrish. He is survived by: his children, Keith Leggett (Lana) of Ashburn, Virginia and Marta Harr (Tom) of New Philadelphia; his grandchildren, Brian (Amy), Mark Harr (Tiff), Melanie Nixon (Jim) and Jesse Ricker (Jason); and his brother Don Leggett. He is also survived by his eleven great-grandchildren; his two great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests that contributions in Walter's memory be made to Community Hospice, 716 Commercial Ave. S.W., New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663.
