He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Mackey and Adeline Mackey (Gwin); and his brothers, Karl Mackey, Bruce Mackey, Richard Mackey and Theodore Mackey.
He is survived by: his wife Alva Zurcher; his children, Dawn Mackey of Uhrichsville and Steven Mackey (Cindi) of Dennison; his grandchildren, Shantelle Walker, Sydney Erickson (Chase), Shyanne Mackey (Brady Collins) and Mallory Mackey; his stepgranddaughters, Emily Mitchell (Cody) and Kaitlyn Sasfy (Tommy); his great grandchildren, Noah, Kyla, Cooper, Dawson, Enoch and Selah; and his pet Max. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Organic Church (1943 N Water St Ext, Uhrichsville, OH 44683).
