He is survived by: his wife Alva Zurcher; his children, Dawn Mackey of Uhrichsville and Steven Mackey (Cindi) of Dennison; his grandchildren, Shantelle Walker, Sydney Erickson (Chase), Shyanne Mackey (Brady Collins) and Mallory Mackey; his stepgranddaughters, Emily Mitchell (Cody) and Kaitlyn Sasfy (Tommy); his great grandchildren, Noah, Kyla, Cooper, Dawson, Enoch and Selah; and his pet Max. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
