With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas A. Helbling of New Philadelphia, Ohio, born in Coshocton, Ohio, who passed away on February 8, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo A. Helbling and Mary A. Harvey Helbling; his wife Therese Ebner; and his siblings, Leo Helbling (Catherine), George Helbling (Virginia), Mary Anne Bown (John) and Joseph Helbling (Clarita).
He is survived by: his children, Christopher Helbling (Christine) of Dover, Joseph Helbling (Susan) of Dover, Carol Bonamico of North Canton and Theresa "Terri" Flora (Michael) of Gahanna; his grandchildren, Sara Studeny (Adam), David Helbling (Terry), Alisha Burks (Albert), Abigail Helbling, Carmen Thomas Bonamico (Molly), Elizabeth McDannold (Brent), Andrea Bonamico, Jack Flora (Callie Loparo), Sam Flora and Hannah Flora; and his great grandchildren, Adalyn Burks, Ian, Bella McDannold, Henry, Zoe Studeny and Loretta Bonamico. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family requests guests in attendance to please wear masks and practice social distancing.
