She was predeceased by: her parents, Ima Mae (Mossbarger) and W. Ralph Cox; her brother Arlan Cox of Chillicothe; and her nephew Jeff Smith of Waverly. She is survived by: her husband Jon Michael Yates I; her children, J. Michael Yates II (Vicki), Christopher Yates (Megan) and Kimberly Pennell (Dave); her grandchildren, Olivia Webb (David), Brooke Carroll (Alex), DeAnna Yates (Jesse Schneider), Quinn Yates, Seth Yates, Courtney Yates, Nathan Adkins (Kianna), Brennan Adkins (Nicole), Justin Adkins (Mackenna Warth), Cameron Adkins, Adrianne Chmielewski and Evan Chmielewski; and her sister Karen Holden (Cox) of Chillicothe. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
