He is survived by: his wife Helen Shaffer Phillips of New Philadelphia; his children, Candie Phillips of New Philadelphia, George Kerns (Crystal) of New Philadelphia and Juanita Applegarth of New Philadelphia; his grandchildren, Jessica Phillips, Miranda Philips, Destiny Combs, Samuel Phillips, Georgina Marker, Joni Kerns, Cassandra Lopez and Helen Kerns; and his great grandchildren, Emily, Lilly, Keerstein, Elania, Gabby and Brooklyn. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
