He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Akridge and Alma L. Akridge (Thompson); and his brother Donnie Akridge. He is survived by: his wife Marla R. Caldwell; his siblings, Randy Akridge (Mary Charles) of Brewton and Cathy Lewis (Rick) of Eufaula, Alabama; his sister-in-law Kathleen Akridge of Hampton, Virginia; his niece Lori McStoots (Hallam); and his nephews, Garrett Akridge (Jada), Jason Akridge (Valerie) and Nathan Akridge.
