It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert L. McDonald of New Philadelphia, Ohio, born in Magnolia, Ohio, who passed away on December 31, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry McDonald and Pearl Lanning McDonald; and his wife Carol M. McDonald. He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Beichel (Perry) of Fresno, Robert L. McDonald II of New Philadelphia, Rhonda VanFossen of New Philadelphia and Beverly McDonald of New Philadelphia; his grandchildren, Devin McDonald, Korey Herron, Haven VanFossen, Kaylee Fowler, Karlotta Postlewait and Isaac Beichel; and his siblings, Leonard McDonald of Beach City and Ruth Harding White of Dover. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
