He was predeceased by: his parents, Isidore May and Mary Diebold May; his wife Maude Betts May; and his daughter Dr. Maureen A. May. He is survived by: his son Robert May Jr. (Cathy) of Asheville; his grandchildren, Caitlin Robie Sekerak (Tyler), Ryan and Tim Robie; his great grandchild Maren Christine Sekerak; his brother James May; and his son-in-law Patrick Robie. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 health crisis, private services will be held with burial in St. Joseph Calvary Cemetery, Dover.
