It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert J. Haines Jr. of New Philadelphia, Ohio, born in Dover, Ohio, who passed away on September 23, 2021, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Patricia Ann Haines; and his grandparents, Anna, John Ricklic, Fern and Lenoard Haines.

He is survived by: his father Robert J. Haines, Sr. of North Carolina; his sister Betsy Sumerlin (Wayland) of Greenville; his niece Anna Nicole Sumerlin; and his nephew Spencer Hoyt Sumerlin. He is also survived by two step-sisters, a step-brother, and many special cousins and friends.
