He is survived by: his father Francis; his brother Steven Betz of Warsaw; his nephew Derek Johns of Wooster; his great-niece Cameron Cantwell of New Philadelphia; and his aunts, Carolyn Kinser of New Philadelphia and Earleen McInerney of Texas.
