With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard H. Amacher of New Philadelphia, Ohio, born in Dover, Ohio, who passed away on November 3, 2022 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernst Amacher and Pauline Amacher (Winkelman); and his brother Robert Winkelman. He is survived by: his siblings, Betty Lou Hurst, Carol Sue LeMasters, Doris Jean Bailey and Ernest J. Amacher, Jr. of New Philadelphia. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and a great-great nephew.

The family requests that memorial contributions be directed to either the Jerusalem Church Building Fund, 1417 Stone Creek Road SW, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663, or Community Hospice, Truman House, 716 Commercial Avenue SW, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663.
