We bid farewell to Richard A. Smart of New Philadelphia, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 14, 2025 at the age of 75. Richard touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Winston Smart and Marcella Smart Mason (McFarlan); his wife Donna J. Konowal; and his grandmothers, Elizabeth Smart and Carrie McFarlan.
He is survived by: his children, Richele M. Smart of Dover and James W. Smart (Abby) of Dover; his granddaughters, Taylor, Maddie, Rion, Olivia and Avery; and his close friend Glenn Wright.
A graveside service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Evergreen Burial Park (1520 Delaware Dr SE, New Philadelphia, OH 44663).
