She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Frances Mae Daugherty Bennett; her husband Robert "Bob" Eugene Smitley; her children, Dana Wrae West (Steve) of Tappan Lake, Jill Lynn Yuen (late Oliver) of New Philadelphia and Dr. Robert Eric Smitley of Cleveland; her grandchildren, Leah Wrae L'Ecuyer (Benjamin) and Luke Ryan West (Natalie); her great grandchild Margot Wrae L'Ecuyer; her sisters-in-law, Harriet Fete (Bud), Shirley Vanfossen (late Melvin) and Linda Metzger (Randy); her sister Sinda Norris; her mother-in-law Pearl May Smitley; her son-in-law Oliver Yuen; her siblings, Russell "Cork" Bennett, Sally Jo Kothe Hilliker and Linda Bennett Pingle; and her siblings-in-law, David Jacob Smitley, Dale Czatt, Melvin Vanfossen and Millie Vanfossen Czatt. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
