He was predeceased by: his daughters, Patricia Walker and Pamela Whitman; his father Fred Parsons; and his siblings, Ruby "Sis" Lyles, Gladys Thoburn, Nada Parsons, Betty Rothacher, Shelby Weaver, Connie Butler, Ralph Parsons, Larry Parsons and Billy Parsons.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth A. "Tizzie" Parsons (Buss); his grandchildren, Jasmine O'Neal (Brandon) of Dover, Keith Alan Roberts of New Philadelphia and Shay Whitman of Port Washington; and his great grandchildren, Ashley, Gabriel of Pamela, JR and Kendrick.
