He was predeceased by: his parents, Gail W. Carson and Wilma Jenkins Carson Stout; his stepfather Harry Stout; and his siblings, Gail Carson, Jr., Timothy Carson and Melody Burch.
He is survived by: his family Gay-Lynn Carson (family: Jonathan Wheeler, Jason Wheeler, Michael Johnson); his adoptive daughter Erin Gray (Clyde) of Magnolia; his grandchildren, Nick, Katrianna, Mariela, Lily and Zachary; and his brother-in-law Randy Clements (Linda). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
