She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosetta "Rose" Hooks Burns and James Landon Burns; her husband Francis "Cliff" Gray; her sister D. Opal Stringer; and her brother-in-law George Stringer.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Ramos (Ricardo), Shawn Gray of New Philadelphia and Kevin Gray of Monticello, Florida; her grandchildren, Rachael Hartsell (Brett) of Indianapolis and R. Andrew "Drew" Ramos of New Philadelphia; her great grandchild Mathias Grayson Hartsell of Indianapolis; and her sister-in-law Barbara Gray (Marcellus). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
