He is survived by: his children, Sharon Williamson (Randy) of New Philadelphia, Bill Bacon (Tamara) of New Philadelphia and Mick Bacon of Dennison; his siblings, Samuel Bacon, Jr. (Barbara), N. Canton and Maggalene Shaffer of Massillon; his former wife Louise Mechelke (Brian); and his brother-in-law John Gross. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
