She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Jefferson and Helen O'Rita Murphy (Pyle); and her siblings, Sarah Rice, Gene, William, Richard and Thomas Murphy.
She is survived by: her husband Roy Dale "Jim" Scott; her children, Vonne Cahaney (Tom), Jeffrey Scott, James Scott (Cindy) and Melinda Maxwell (Brian); her grandchildren, Corrie Johnson (Cahaney), Scott Cahaney, Brock Maxwell, Brent Scott, Jillian Divan (Cahaney), Brandon Scott, Lauren Scott, Bradley Scott, Paige Randolph (Maxwell) and Cody Scott; her siblings, Martha Chaney (James) and Larry Murphy (Cindy); and her sisters-in-law, Kathy Murphy and Arlene Murphy. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
