She was predeceased by: her parents, William Howes and Margaret Moore Howes; her husband William Barrett; her siblings, Arlee, Will, Chuck, Norma Liedtke and Sara Powell; her son Gary L. Barrett; and her grandson Tyler Halpenny.
She is survived by: her children, Courtney Barrett (Connie) of Hendersonville, Sharon S. Lemasters of New Philadelphia, Karen J. Drennen (Don) of Rivesville and Melissa J. Halpenny (Keith) of Hanover, Pennsylvania. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
