He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Vesco and Anna Vesco (Bonvechio); his parents-in-law, Thomas and Sofia Meechan; his brothers, Ralph Vesco and Carl Vesco, Jr.; his siblings-in-law, Catherine Fish, Mable May, Mary Simmons, Daniel Meechan, Russ Walton, Phil Simmons and Gene Hobart; and his pet Ozzie.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Vesco (Meechan); his children, Jeffrey "Jake" Vesco (Cindy) of Pickerington, Dan Vesco (Cheryl) of Plain City, Kristy Vesco of New Philadelphia and Martin Vesco, Jr. (Cathy) of Uniontown; his grandchildren, Nicole Vesco, Zachery Vesco, Morgan Zuckerman (David), Tyler Vesco (Emily), Tessa Lerch (Alex), Sara Vesco and Grace Vesco; his great grandchildren, Jacob Steele, Kyleigh Steele, Kinsley Vesco and Braxton Vesco; his siblings, Thomas Vesco (Pam) and Roseann Andreas (Tom); and his sisters-in-law, Roanne Vesco, Betty Vesco, Patricia Hobart and Frances Walton (Butch).
