She was predeceased by: her parents, George Rieger and Clara Rieger (Welsch); her husband Donald F. "Murph" Murphy; her son Bruce Murphy; her siblings, Betty Alpeter, Kathryn Bixler, Ruth Sieber, Bobby, Donald, Ray Rieger (Josephine) and Ken; and her sister-in-law Janet Murphy.
She is survived by: her son Tom Murphy (Gay) of Strasburg; her grandchildren, Ryan Murphy (Mindy), Shawna Wells (Chad) and Dakota Murphy (Jessica); her great grandchildren, Brandt, Reid, Hunter, Kenzie, Lincoln, Maddix, Brice and Adilyn; her sister Joyce Espenschied; and her sister-in-law Armella Rieger.
