It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lela M. Garver of New Philadelphia, Ohio, born in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on January 10, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Lee and Gladys Iola Wertenberger (Link); her siblings, Richard Lee Wertenberger and Helen Elliott; and her half-sisters, Joyce Summerville and Margaret Simmons.
She is survived by: her husband John Daniel "Dan" Garver; her children, Daniel L. Garver (Judy) and Barbara J. Carlisle (Steven); her grandsons, Steve Carlisle (Michele), Scott Carlisle (Patricia), Ben Garver (Mandy), Matt Garver (Lauren) and Mitch Garver; and her great grandchildren, Cory, Cassidy, Jamie, Zach and Miles. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
