Lawrence Gorby Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Gorby (New Philadelphia, Ohio), who passed away on January 8, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bartlett Gorby and Lillian Gertrude Wilson Gorby; his stepson Don Barnes; his stepson-in-law Rick Barger; and his siblings, Roy, Glenn, Harold, Wilbur, Roland, Herman, Edwin, Floyd, Helen, Myrtle, Dorothy and Susan.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Hixson Gorby; his daughters, Kathy Dillan (Todd) of Enon Valley and Linda Foster (Ron) of East Palestine; his stepdaughters, Rhonda Barger of New Springfield and Carolyn Barnes (Holly Koester) of Cleveland; and his siblings, Clifford Gorby of Columbiana, Hazel Ewing of Salem and Florence Barnhouse of Bethesda, OH. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren as well as nieces, nephews and many extended family.
