He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Kenneth and Ethel Blanche Markle (Gray). He is survived by: his son John Kenneth Markle of Massillon; his grandchild Thomas Hudson Markle; his daughter Sarah Elisabeth; his son-in-law Neil Burns of Cassadaga; his grandsons, William Kenneth and Wyatt Everett Burns; his sister Mary Ann; his brother-in-law Ronald Weisenstine of Vermillion; his brother Robert; and his sister-in-law Cheryl Markle of Sherrodsville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
