She was predeceased by: her husband Harold J. Shamel; her siblings, Martha Rolli, Thelma Morrison and Warren Schumacher; her niece Joyce Sainato; and her cousins, John Kopp and Carl Kopp.
She is survived by: her sons, Harold Shamel (Robin) of Uhrichsville, Jeffrey Shamel of Tuscarawas and Chris Shamel (Melissa) of Tuscarawas; her grandchildren, Kane Shamel, Jonas Shamel, Ed Shamel, Alex Shamel and Katie Shamel; and her great grandchildren, Alena Shamel, Emma Shamel and Lacey Shamel. She is also survived by 4 great great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Sharon Moravian Church to help restore the stained glass windows.
