He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Frederick and Beula S. Ashbaugh (Whitmer); his wife Audrey Lillian Chaney Ashbaugh; and his sisters, Jane Rose and Helen Ashbaugh.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Madison Vance; his sons, Terry Ashbaugh (Debbie) of New Philadelphia and Jeffrey Ashbaugh (Jody) of Florida; and his grandchildren, Yvonne Pettitt (Donny), Carrie Hagey (Jeromy), Elizabeth McComb (Roman), Bradi Henderson (Andrew) and Tyler Ashbaugh. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; and many nieces and nephews.
