She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Canfield and Cecile Canfield; her husband Russell Fowler; and her sister Nancy Elizabeth Canfield. She is survived by: her children, Kristi Ohler (Jim), Pam Grimwood (Don) and Steven McCue; her siblings, Kevin Canfield (Sally), Keith Canfield (Kris), Kurt Canfield (Jill), Kim Montgomery (Rick) and Karol Thewlis (Roy); and her stepsister Kathy Nance. She is also survived by Her six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Research Hospital in Karen's name for her love for children.
