With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joy M. Yoder of New Philadelphia, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Fisher and Mary Hoagland Fisher; her husband Vernon A. Yoder; her brother Kevin Fisher; and her brother-in-law Mark Linard.
She is survived by: her daughter Melanie Cox (Jeffrey) of New Philadelphia; her stepgrandsons, Dawson, Owen and Logan Cox; and her sisters, Sue Curell (Dennis) of Michigan, Lori Linard of Uhrichsville and Amy Grimm (Scotty) of Stone Creek. She is also survived by numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the NewPointe Community Church (3950 OH-39, Dover, OH 44622). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
The family requests memorial contributions in Joy's name be directed to Ohio's Hospice Foundation, 716 Commercial Avenue SW, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663.
