He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Jack" Levengood and Phyllis Ruth Levengood (Barnes); his granddaughter Aubrey Rangel; his nephew Scott Levengood; and his stepson Jack Staley.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Leah Rangel (Philip) of Dennison, Mitchell Levengood (Katie Garabrandt) of New Philadelphia, Andrea Gintner (Jim) of Warren and Olivia Emler (Blair) of Dover; his grandchildren, Philip IV, Wesley Rangel, Brennan, Vivienne, Addison Gintner, Avery, Aniston and Ariah Emler; his brothers, Mark Levengood (Patty) of Dover and Jeff Levengood (Joyce) of New Philadelphia; his stepdaughter Kayley Hickman (Glenn); his stepgrandchildren, Tyler and Audriana; his pet Ellie Mae; and his friend Eric.
