It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joann R. Roney of New Philadelphia, Ohio, who passed away on January 23, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry H. Meissner and Gladys Meissner (Cosand); her husband Robert Roney; her son Jonathan Roney; and her siblings, Joseph Meissner, Marie C. McCartney, Irene Powell, Henry H. Meissner, Jr., Betty Moreland, Edith Beldon and Evelyn Meissner.
She is survived by: her daughter Sue Goray (Jim) of San Antonio, Texas; her grandsons, Ryan Roney (Leslie) of New Philadelphia, Aaron Roney of New Philadelphia and Alexander Roney (Tamie) of Strasburg; her great grandchildren, Adan and Isaiah Roney; and her daughter-in-law Sandy Roney of New Philadelphia.
