She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Shaw and Mildred Singer Shaw; her son Eric Hizer; and her sister Grace Shaw. She is survived by: her spouse C. Thomas Hizer; her sons, Nicholas Hizer (Misty) of Bedford, Nathan Hizer (Hedda) of Prescott and Matt Hizer (Laci) of New Philadelphia; and her grandchildren, Nyah, Liev, Isla, Imogen, Michael, Lucy and Leah.
