She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Harrington and Helena Regina Maus (Sisco); her brothers, Herbert Maus Jr. (Irene) and Charles Maus; her brother-in-law Edwin Mathias; and her nephew Steve Maus.
She is survived by: her husband Howard E. "Howdy" Byers; her children, Rebecca Auman and Phillip Byers of Dover; her grandchildren, Stephanie Withem, Adam Burns and Leslie Hirgelt (Chris); her great grandchildren, Nathan, Jaelyn Withem and Carter Ingram; her great great grandchild Athena Withem; her sister Mary Jane Mathias; her niece Jenny Ramsay (William); and her nephew David Maus (Monica).
