He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Scheetz and Lena Scheetz (Miller); his son Christopher D. Scheetz; and his brother Ray Burgan. He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Nancy Burgan of Dover and Larry Renner (Karen) of Warsaw. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
