He was predeceased by: his parents, John Albert "Chicken" and Doris Mae Patterson (Haugh). He is survived by: his wife Joyce Ann Mock; his children, Ryan Patterson (Kristy), Doug DeYoung, Ashliegh Miller (Larry) and Zac Jones; his grandchildren, Jacqui, Colson and Griffey; his siblings, Gloria Kugler (Ed), Sally Milburn (Jim) and Kim Patterson (Vesta); and his pet Ripley.
