It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Sue Hurst-Loughrey of New Philadelphia, Ohio, born in Midvale, Ohio, who passed away on August 10, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Virginia Sours (Roach) and Benton Sours (Janice); her former husband Timothy Hurst; her husband Richard Loughrey; her grandson Cole Hurst; her brother Benton Sours II; and her brother-in-law David Hurst.
She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Link (Bret) of New Philadelphia, Troy Hurst of Louisville and Leslie Karl (Doug) of New Philadelphia; her grandchildren, Nikki Antonucci, Grace Stanley (Lee), Dr. Tyler Hurst (Samantha), Michael Karl and Alex Karl; her great grandchildren, Emma, Aubrey, Grayson, Charlie, Hudson, Otto and Vera; her sisters, Karen Schwartz and Cindi Yoder (Eric); and her parents-in-law, Betty Hurst, Tom Hurst (Peggy) and Jack Hurst (Carole). She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
