He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Eichel and Maxine Eichel (Walker). He is survived by: his wife Sonja Lackey; his children, Alma Benner (Dan) of New Franklin, Tammy Eichel of South Dakota, Rene Perket (Kenny) of California, Jim Eichel (Carla) of Oregon, Veronica Lackey of New Philadelphia and Paul Lackey, Jr. (Regina) of Canton; his grandchildren, Casey, Allison, Claire, Paul, Stephanie, Mariah and Austin; and his sister Jeananne Baker (Tom) of Tuscarawas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
