He was predeceased by: his parents, Moody Charles and Ruby Ivy Hensley (Vaughn); and his sister Maxine Quarles. He is survived by: his spouse Donna Raye Nickison; his grandchildren, Harmony Bernard, Jamie Shuman, Tony Bernard, Ashley Wallick and Carl Hensley, II; and his sister Carol Hensley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
