He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Phillips and Dorothy M. Phillips (Letzkus). He is survived by: his wife Carol A. Phillips (Wertenberger); his sons, Tim Phillips of New Philadelphia, Matthew Phillips of Huntington Beach and Mark Phillips of Canton; his granddaughters, Hannah M. Miles and Ryian N. Phillips; and his brother William Phillips of Hawaii.
