He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Widder and Caroline Widder (Syler); his wife Geraldine A. "Jerry" Maurer; his brothers, Cleone Widder, Ben Widder and Albert Widder; and his siblings-in-law, Dale Goodmote, Dean Edwards, Homer Sexton and Irene Widder.
He is survived by: his daughters, Becky Wolf (Allen) of Uhrichsville, Beverly Patt (Mark) of New Cumberland, Beth Ann Knapp (Ted) of Sherrodsville and Bonnie Schaub (Doug) of North Lawrence; his siblings, Nancy Goodmote of Dover, Mary Edwards of Sugarcreek, Molly Sexton of Ragersville, Larry "Butch" Widder of Florida and Linda Widder of Dover; and his sisters-in-law, Sue Widder of Dover and Norma White of Canton.
