She was predeceased by: her parents, Olie O. Rainsberger and Grace M. Rainsberger (Shaw); her husband Earl D. Patterson; her son Rennard Patterson; her grandson Jason Smith; and her siblings, Foster Rainsberger, George Rainsberger and Ruth Guthrie.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Goodwill (William) of Plant City, Dena Reidl (Michael) of Seville, Donna Smith (Danny) of Canton and David Patterson (Sherry) of New Philadelphia; her sister Kay Allison of Chesapeake, Virginia; and her daughter-in-law Kathy Patterson. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
