He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe B. Clantz and Lucille Clantz (Baker); his wife Donna Clantz; and his sisters, Joyce Petry and Janice Hill.
He is survived by: his son Randy; his daughter-in-law Jayne Clantz of Dennison; his daughter Joni; his son-in-law David Liggett of New Philadelphia; his siblings, Ruth McCormick of Dover and Joseph "Merle"; his sister-in-law Kathy Clantz of Uhrichsville; and his close friend Margie Singerman of New Philadelphia. He is also survived by six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
