He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Leroy and Mary Esther Polen (McGill); and his siblings, Virginia Miller, Maxine Bache, Ruth Phillipi, Ronnie and Charles Polen.
He is survived by: his daughters, Joyce Polen, Brenda McDonald (Art) and Rhonda Ward (Dave); his grandchildren, Carman Viar (Chris), Cody Kepschull (Miriam), Tyler Emley (Liz), Travis Kepschull (Cassie), Jeffery McDonald (Holly), Matthew McDonald, Kyrie McDonald (Mark) and Kelly Ward (Travis); his great grandchildren, Paige, McKenna, Sydney, Andrew Viar, Oliver, Sullivan, Arthur Kepschull, Caden Crow and Ford McDonald; his siblings, Dean Polen (Heidi) and Wanda Kanode (Jeff); and his nephew Roy Randolph.
