He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoyt Duane Shotwell and Phyllis Zimmerly Griesen; and his brother Lonnie Shotwell. He is survived by: his children, Verna Kauffman (Chris) of Orrville and Gary Schaar of Wilmot, Ohio; his fiancée Barb Sutton; his stepfather Jerry Griesen of Stone Creek; his sister Sherry Fechuch (Dan) of Newcomerstown; his half-brother Duane Shotwell (Ashley) of North Carolina; and his grandchildren, Preston and Alexis Kauffman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
All guests are required to wear a mask to enter the funeral home.
