It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Evelyn J. Simpson Waite of New Philadelphia, Ohio, born in Dover, Ohio, who passed away on August 1, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Davidson and Lucy Abel Davidson; her former husband Otmar P. "Slim" Simpson; her husband John "Jack" Waite; her son Daniel Simpson; her sister Beverly Moore; and her great grandchildren, Caleb Mann and Raymond Daniels.
She is survived by: her children, Edward Simpson of New Philadelphia, Wesley Simpson (Beth) of New Philadelphia and Thomma May Casper (John) of Arkansas; and her brother Roland Davidson (Betty) of Dover. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
